Charles B. "Cardy" Pursel, Esq.

Charlie or "Cardy" (the nickname was picked up long ago), is a third generation "Bloomsburger". He acquired his undergraduate degree at Haverford College and attended the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Cardy and his wife Betty have three grown children: Leslie is in banking, Tom is an engineer and Brad is in marketing with a professional soccer league. Cardy enjoys golf and attending local sporting events in his spare time.

Alvin J. Luschas, Esq.

Al joined the law firm in 1979 after moving to Columbia County from Mahanoy City. He is a graduate of the University of Scranton and the St. Louis University Law School. Al and his wife Elaine, have three daughters: Mary is a teacher in Illinois. Their two younger daughters, Carol and Christine, graduated from Central Columbia High School and attend Kutztown University and The University of Scranton, respectively.

Noah Naparsteck, Esq.

Noah grew up in Wilkes-Barre and graduated from Kings College in his home town. After graduating from Dickinson Law School in 1998, he joined the Derr, Pursel, Luschas & Norton, LLP team in Bloomsburg. Noah became a partner at the firm in 2005. He enjoys golf, racquteball and community activities in his off hours.

C. Brian Crane, Esq.

C. Brian Crane is a native of Danville, Pennsylvania and is the most recent Attorney to join the firm. Brian graduated with honors from the Taft School, Georgetown University, and the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University. His wife, Sonia, teaches at the Danville High School. Brian enjoys playing the guitar, piano, and singing. He has performed numerous times at the White House for President Clinton and also on stage at the Kennedy Center of Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.

Gary E. Norton, Esq.

Gary's schooling includes Central Columbia High School, Shippensburg University and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, all from which he graduated with honors. Gary became associated with the firm in 1985. He enjoys skiing, biking, and tennis, and is a marathon runner, with several sub-3 hour performances in the Boston Marathon. Gary and his wife Melissa have three boys, Bobby, Kenny, and Jacky, who attend Central Columbia Schools. They are in the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts and enjoy football, basketball, baseball and soccer.
